Poem: Unburdened

Unburdened,
I walk through fields of wildflowers.
I breathe air,
Drink rain,
Eat apples and clover,
Smell daisies and violets.
With my hands, I touch the wind;
With my feet, the grass;
With my eyes, the sunlight.
Here and now
I am as I was meant to be:
Unburdened.
