How to Delete the Adobe Cache in MacOS X

All the informational posts I found about this are videos, so here are simple, text-based instructions.

  1. Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Media Cache Files
  2. Delete everything in there.
  3. Go up one level to the Media Cache folder & delete everything in there, too.
  4. Now go to ~/Library/Caches/Adobe.
  5. Pick one of the applications and navigate to [Application Name]/[Version No.]/Disk Cache.
  6. Delete everything in there.
  7. Go back to the list of Adobe applications and repeat steps 5 & 6 until you're satisfied. Some applications may not have a Disk Cache.
  8. Empty the trash.

Living in the Future

Today while driving home, my 3-year-old son was chatting about the moon. He has quite an imagination. He said that there were robots on the moon.

I replied, "There aren't any robots on the moon. The robots are on Mars."

It was a perfectly factual statement, but the true impact of what I had said hit me in that moment. We are living in the future. We are living in a time of human history when there really are robots on Mars, robots that we built and sent there.

It's a good time to be alive.
